Burns  Night

The  Burns Night is being Held at the Gretna Hall Hotel (01461 338 257) I spoke to Symone. There is a celidh and a Piper  on the 25th. Some of us have booked the 2 night package, the 24th and the 25th.  Please email me on peter.hunter@clanhunter.info if you want more information, or if you decide to join us.

2 Nights 24th & 25th January £55 per person for the 2 nights.

3 Nights 24th, 25th & 26th January £75 per person for the 3 nights.

As it is a special promotion, payment is made  at the time of booking.

APRIL - 2003

The  Clan Hunter Association UK AGM will be held on April (26th), all members  are invited to attend the AGM. The AGM will be held in the Great Hall of Hunterston Castle, if you are interested in atteding, or would like more information, contact  Peter Hunter the Membership Secretary peter.hunter@clanhunter.info.

Clan Farquharson will hold it's Clan Gathering during August, an invitation to members of Clan Hunter to attend has been made.

SEPTEMBER - 2003

The Annual Castle Open Day will take place at the beginning of September, it is usually the first Sunday of the month, as soon as we have  confirmation of the date it will be posted here.

As well as the castle being open to the public, we invite Clan Members to volunteer in helping out during the day. Clan Members are also welcome to come and view the Castle at their leisure during the day.

The Battle of Flodden is an important date in our Calendar, anybody  that is interested in attending the Memorial at Flodden should get in touch  with the Clan Secretary peter.hunter@clanhunter.info.

JANUARY  2004

We now have the details of the Burns Night for 2004, a letter has been sent to all members inviting them to book for the evening. As of 18-10-2004 there is around 13/15 members attending the event, please let me know if you are attending so we can arrange tables etc. My contact is peter.hunter@clanhunter.info.
