What does being a member of Clan Hunter  mean?

The  Clan Hunter Association UK is one of a number of associations around the world. The associations help raise funds for the upkeep of the Hunterston Castle, the seat of the Hunters of Hunterston, and Clan Hunter.

The  associations and their members promote awareness of Clan Hunter and Scottish  Heritage. Scotland has a wealth of history that the Clans bring to life.

There  will be a varying number of events throughout the year, and every 3 years there will be the Clan Gathering, what and how many events take place, is dictated by the membership and it's attendance. Below is an example of events that we  might expect to take place in a normal year.

Annual General meeting at Hunterston castle where you can visit the castle and it's grounds.

Flodden Weekend.

Burns Supper.

Hunterston Castle Open Day.

Assistance with family Genealogy from our specialist Brian Hunter.

Association working lunch's take place from time to time (all members are invited to attend).

Association Newsletter (sent out periodically throughout the year to all members).
