FAMILY WEDDINGS

The wedding of Angus Kennedy Cochran Patrick to Rebecca Burrill took place on Angus' birthday, 22ndApri11989. The marriage service was conducted atAvington Church, Hungerford, Berkshire, in a private chapel belonging to Lord Howard de Walden. It was a beautiful spring day and over 250 guests attended a champagne reception in a yellow and white marquee at the home of the bride's mother, Phillipa, and step-father Simon Courtauld, editor of 'Country Times'.

Rebecca's dress was designed by Anthony Powell who has won two Oscars for costume design in 'Room With A View' and Roman Polanski's 'Tess'. He is a close friend of the bride's father Timothy Burrill, a film producer. Angus wore a Kennedy tartan kilt.

Although Rebecca has trained as an actress and Angus as an artist, they are currently working together as specialist decorators: wood-graining and marbelling people's houses in London and are now living in Kintbury, between Newbury and Hungerford.
