The 37th Hunter Reunion of my family was held as usual at Mt. Lake Hotel, Mt. Lake, Va. We had a record attendance of 89. Joining us at this reunion were several good friends from Paris, who visited
Hunterston with us in 1987. .
The Stone Mountain Scottish Games in Atlanta, Ga., were held on the weekend of October 21st and.
22nd 1989. Due to new regulations we were unable to use our fine Clan Tent. We had a Clan Gathering on Saturday October 21st at 6p.m. at the home of Clan Member Lynette Hunter Wright, 2391 Wood Leaf Lane, Decatur, Ga. 30033. Her phone numbers are as follows: Office 252 8102 and Home 634 4248.
Vi and Ron Hunter, who so ably handle the Clan Tent at the Stone Mountain Games are moving this fall to Alabama. Ron has accepted a position in The College of Criminal Justice at Jacksonville State University.
Still Hunter resplendent in his Hunter Kilt, has become the President-Elect of the St. Andrews Society of the Middle South. Trish and I were on hand to participate in the Annual Dinner, where Still was so honoured.
